About
Ephemeral Musings is just a little place to express myself on topics such as photography, technology, Photoshop and general news.
I am enthusiastic about photography and technology and I like to think I have some mild talent as a wordsmith. Time will tell whether that’s true or, instead, if I’m so boring that the whole web grinds to a halt as a result.
The first computer I personally used – which really is what truly ignited my interest in technology – was a Dick Smith System 80, owned by my friend Stuart (well, actually, his parents - he and I were 10 at the time). Since then I’ve pretty much used everything that’s been around.
My presence on the web came in 1996, about five years after I first ventured onto the internet. Don’t worry, I’m not quite as boring as that suggests, because I’ve been a photographer since about 1977. I’ve been paid for odd bits and pieces, but basically I’m just an enthusiastic amateur who has really embraced the digital age of the medium.
Anyway, enough for now – let’s see how long it takes me to update this!
